Is Short Form Content đź‘‘ ?

Okay, we’ve all heard the terms “short term content” and “long form content” thrown around….

Pardon my french - but “wtf do they even mean?”

No worries, I gotchu!

Long form content serves the purpose of…

nurturing viewers, offering higher/deeper value to potential clients and followers.  It builds a high level of trust with your audience!

“Can you give me some examples, Amie?” Of course!!

Think of - IG lives, video podcasts, YouTube videos

Got it? Okay - now before we move on…

Short form content aims to…

spark curiosity of new unicorn clients, builds your audience and warms them up by giving them bits of high value content in shorter bursts!

Think of - Reels, Tiktok, YouTube shorts and idea pins on Pinterest.

SO which type of content *wins* at growth??

The short answer is BOTH

Long answer - short form content (because it will continually bring new faces and interested potential clients to your business for years and years) if evergreen (think YouTube short vs stories that disappear in 24 hours)...

Both types of content will help you grow exponentially if used consistently!

Here’s what I recommend (AKA - My suggestions for growth in social using short/long term content):

  1. Always use a CTA. Here are some ways to creatively mix up CTAs: freebie offered (leads to paid offer, of course), enroll in my course X which touches on X, join my free training on X (leads to paid offer).  You’ll want a CTA like this on EVERY piece of content short or long form that you release.

  2. Create high-value and entertaining posts and share them daily to reels/tiktok and YT shorts (always using a CTA). And stay consistent with style within video too (colors, fonts, filter, etc). For long form evergreen content - share YT videos and podcast episodes within your niche.  People will find you!  And this type of content will pitch you and your offer all times of day and night.

*** REMINDER: All short/long form content you create can be evergreen content that leads back to your paid offer!
